Marge: Did you two keep an eye on Maggie?

Bart: Yeah, mom.

Lisa: Yeah, mom.

Marge: Well, where is she?

[Maggie appears]

Maggie: *suck*

[The butterfly Maggie was holding flies away]

Maggie: *cry*

Bart: Man, she is such a baby.

Marge: Oh, Homer, it’s getting late. We’ll miss the fireworks.

Homer: Marge, we’ve got all the fireworks we need right here.

[Homer pulls a sheet off a box and, indeed, there are fireworks]

Election Update: Investigation Against Plant Called Off!

The newly decorated Simpson household.

The investigation that Mary Bailey called for on May 21st has been called off due to unknown reasons. Many believe that Burns’ cronies fixed everything in the Plant so there would be no need for an investigation. Others believe that Mary Bailey, under the stress of losing, called it off, hoping to get some of the voter’s back. Both deny any involvement to why it was called off, but people can still speculate. Otherwise, Mr. Burns has reported that he will be dining with average Joe Homer Simpson, a worker at his Power Plant. Some of Homer’s employees insist that Homer will find someway to make Burns lose the election, which would make everyone in the Plant fired on spot. More election updates when the news comes in.

Homer: Oh no! What have I done? I smashed open my little boy’s piggy bank, and for what? A few measly cents, not even enough to buy one beer. Wait a minute, lemme count and make sure…not even close.
